Copper Birds
In 1993 my sister-in-law asked me to make a tall wading bird for her home in the Garden District  in New Orleans. That led to a lot of copper birds of various shapes and sizes, mounted on bluestone bases. In 2000 I was commissioned to make a large weathervane for the new headquarters building at the Sharon Arts Center in New Hampshire.
